Viewing my 1999 Z3, owned since August 2015, purchased at 82,000 miles est. as the 4th owner and Summer car, garage kept. New conv. roof feb. 2017, rear tires at 92,000 9/2016, rear KYB struts 9/2016, and other work done over time as needed, all receipts incl. since my purchased. Includes 2 keys, glove compt. books. Runs great, engine strong, roof hyd. great. Auto windows, CC and all. The 2.8 Ltr. engine kicks butt & a huge difference. CAVEAT- a common problem with this model having the 2.8 or 3.0 is the rear differential mount has separated from the body/chassis due to the OEM suspension not being reinforced for larger engines. The differential mount MUST be welded back to chassis & chassis areas MUST be welded to unibody if need be. This is a typical Z3 issue for larger engine models after 90,000 miles. While car is drivable (email me for videos, the car is NOT roadworthy until diff. Mount is welded and inspected by your state DMV.) Sold as is, engine, body and all great for the year & mill. Has passed NJ inspection last year. Clearly noted here- While the car is drivable, it needs proper attention to address the rear suspension issue. I will assist with accommodating shipping at your expense if needed. Again, drivable by me on my property to put in truck or flatbed for shipping if need be.
